Abstract
In "Bagatelles pour un massacre", Céline is refused access to the ballet at the Opera; he sees this as the result of a Jewish plot and exclaims "You have made me swallow back my jouissance… […] Just let me show you what can result of swallowed poetry! […] Just wait and see antisemitism!" Desire, writing and ideology joined: what of this swallowed poem of Céline's? Is it not also Rimbaud's?
